When the pointer leaves, rotation stops and sparkles fade. This is the same effect used in the program catalog.

banner_style: auto selects a random finish when the catalog opens, as does omitting the setting. Finishes are not repeated until all ten have been used, and refreshing the same tab changes the previous choice. Explicitly assigned styles stay fixed.

Sparkles appear only while hovering. Reduced-motion preferences disable rotation and sparkles.
